Earlier this month we held first MES Experience User Group of 2018, which focused on making our online surveys and the MES Experience App more accessible. The day was spent looking at Easy Read and Children’s surveys in particular.
The day was split into 2 sessions. The morning session was an open discussion looking at new features that could be added to the system to make surveys more accessible to young people and those who have a disability. The afternoon session focused on the layout of children’s, young people and easy read surveys on the MES Experience App.
This turned out to be a really useful session and we were especially pleased to welcome a number of Trust staff who work specifically in these areas. The user group was attended by Patient experience leads as well as trust staff members representing young people and those patients with a disability. We are currently working with our developers to take all the great feedback we had and build our plans for Version 5 of MES Experience. We will be following up with all clients on this in the coming weeks to discuss these plans.
