HSJ awards shortlist

The 2018 HSJ Partnership Awards took place last night (8th March) at a ceremony at London’s Banking Hall. We’re thrilled to say MES received two nominations.

MES Experience, our real-time platform for measuring patient experience, was shortlisted in the ‘Best Provider of Healthcare Analytics’ category, while MES Declare, our solution for managing conflicts of interest in the NHS, was recognised in the ‘Best Workforce Innovation’ award.

The awards, handed out by the Health Service Journal, look to recognise, celebrate and create a platform for the best products and services being used by the NHS. The awards provide suppliers with the opportunity to be identified as leaders and innovators within healthcare.

As such we were delighted when, earlier this year, we found out that both products had been nominated. In the end, they were pipped to the post by some stiff competition.

Our Managing Director, Nick Goodman said, “Tonight has been a great evening for MES. We may have lost out on the main prizes but we’re very happy to have been nominated. Since our inception, we’ve always been focused on delivering quality engagement products and services. Both MES Experience and MES Declare are evidence of that, and it’s great to be recognised at the HSJ awards. It’s also a reflection of all the hard work put in by the team – they consistently go the extra mile for clients and I am always very proud of them. Congratulations to tonight’s winners – for us, onwards and upwards!”

About MES Experience

MES Experience is the leading real-time platform for measuring patient experience, including the NHS Friends and Family Test. Our cloud-based solution provides multi-channel data collection, bespoke analysis and reporting, and is developed in partnership with our healthcare clients. What truly sets MES Experience apart from anything else on the market is our automated free-text analysis engine. Quantitative data and measurements will help you understand the ‘what’, but only qualitative data will help you understand the ‘why’. A healthcare organisation can collect thousands of feedback comments a month, but analysing that many is like reading a novel and categorising every sentence! With our solution, healthcare professionals can automatically generate insights across 32 themes including patient emotions, non-clinical and clinical service quality, communications, staff attitudes and capabilities, and service co-ordination.

About MES Declare

MES Declare is our fully integrated governance software which enables declarations of interest to be captured and published seamlessly on a PC, tablet or smartphone. MES Declare was designed and developed in partnership with a NHS Trust and in response to NHS England’s guidance (June 2017): ‘Managing conflicts of interest in the NHS’. It continues to evolve in collaboration with our clients who inform and advise on new features and tools. MES Declare has been developed to ensure you are fully compliant and that this new workload is supported cost effectively and efficiently.
