Business Development Manager
Rob oversees all proactive business development and marketing activity for MES. As such, his brief is wide and varied but includes contributing to and implementing BD strategy over all product/service lines, developing and managing business opportunities to fruition, developing new relationships and strategic contacts, as well as the maintenance and analysis of all BD data.
Rob is also our lead for external learning and development and, as such, manages our thought leadership activity including conferences, events, blogs and white papers. He also delivers the majority of our training courses to elected representatives.
In his time working with MES, Rob has contributed to a broad spectrum of activities across the NHS landscape. He has extensive experience in leading and supporting NHS Foundation Trust public consultations as well as other major health projects, including the ground-breaking ‘Accord’ programme based in North East Lincolnshire. A key part of the planning and launch of the scheme, Rob’s work helped place 80% of the region’s commissioning budget into the hands of the public.
A keen rugby fan, Rob’s writing and analytical skills are honed in producing his insightful blog, Red Rugby. He occasionally gets away from the keyboard altogether, singing with the popular a cappella group, The Buzztones.
