Nick is the founder and Managing Director of MES.
Nick started his career in the world of democracy and public engagement in 1994 when he joined MES’s parent company, Electoral Reform Services (ERS), as a ballot project manager. As work broadened into new sectors and the business also became more specialised, Nick realised there was far more that he and the company could usefully be doing for clients.
In the spring of 2006 he set MES up to enable further diversification and to strengthen the Group’s offering with a broader suite of engagement tools and services.
Central to MES’s approach, and very much directed by Nick’s own approach, is a belief in providing no-nonsense solutions and a great service for clients. His role encompasses strategic direction, innovation, maintaining quality and client satisfaction, and overall performance. His enthusiasm for his subject matter and pride in MES and the team sets the tone for everything delivered throughout the business.
Nick is also an ERS Director, contributing to group-wide strategy and day-to-day management, and helping to ensure ERS, MES, and our other subsidiary businesses grow and develop in a coordinated and logical manner.
Nick lives in North London with his family, is a volunteer counsellor for a national charity in his spare time and enjoys film, music and extremely good coffee.
