MES in the Community

MES in the Community

We are committed to our corporate social responsibility and believe good engagement starts at home within our own community. We work with schools and park authorities and we regularly raise money for charities close to our hearts

MES in schools

We work in partnership with Diamond Education Service to give pupils aged 15 – 19 at local schools the opportunity to practice interview skills.

Our parent company, ERS, work in Partnership with Haringey to offer work experience to students at local schools. Learning from these opportunities, pupils are able to apply these experiences and practices into ‘real-life’ future interviews or employment.

If you are interested in finding out more about this scheme or our partnership with Diamond Education Service and Business Partners, please contact Joanna Harding, Office Manager at MES, or Elizabeth Hickey, Communities and Office Assistant at MES.

Parks for London

We are delighted to support the regeneration and sustainable future of London’s parks and green spaces through our partnership with Parks for London.

Parks for London is an independent charity which manages and maintains the City’s parks, to ensure they remain accessible, safe and beautiful places.

We provide advice and support to help the charity engage the membership of London’s parks via the use of our MES Connect database system as a communications hub.

If you are a membership organisation in need of a similar service, please contact us to find out how we could help you engage your members.

Charity fundraising

Every six months or so, MES and ERS staff get their oven gloves on to compete in the Rate My Cake competition. The competition raises money for different charities each time. MES and ERS match fund the total sum raised, to maximise our support for the chosen charity.

MES and ERS staff have recently taken part in a drive to donate food to the local food bank, read more about it here.

Walks, runs and more!

Our more energetic staff members also team up from time to time in walking, running or cycling fundraisers. In May 2017 a strong running team of 10 from MES gave it their all, running 10km around Regents Park dressed as superheroes to raise money for Beating Bowel cancer.
