Our sister organisation, ERS Research, was established in 1991 and provides a full in-house service market research agency specialising in stakeholder and social policy research. It focuses on a number of sectors including:
- Public sector including local and health authorities.
- Membership organisations including clubs, societies and mutuals.
- Trades unions.
ERS Research is a member of the MRS Company Partner Scheme and is registered to ISO 20252 - the international standard for market research.
Our Group's research arm has particular experience in researching members to understand how they feel about the organisation and the services it provides as well as understanding how engaged they are and how this could be improved.
ERS Research is also particularly experienced in conducting research relating to governance matters generally and elections and voting behavior in particular including:
- Why people don't vote in elections
- What would encourage them to vote
- Attitudes to different methods of voting (postal, online and telephone)
Our experience in the Health sector .....
ERS Research have particular expertise in conducting research among patients, staff and the general public.
- We have conducted staff surveys for more than eighty PCTs most recently on staff attitudes to Transforming Community Services (TCS).
- We conduct patient surveys for a number of public and private sector providers of health care using postal and online surveys.
- We have conducted research among health care professionals such as doctors, dentists and nurses on attitudes to their regulatory bodies, trades unions and societies. These have taken the form of qualitative studies as well as surveys.
- We conduct surveys among the general public on satisfaction with local services and more recently to help PCTs develop social marketing campaigns.
