Winter 2009/10
Hello - welcome to Membership Engagement Services' website and news page.
We are finishing 2009 just as busy as we have been throughout the year. There is no let up! This is good though ... we are expanding our range of services, have a number of new clients and have new members of our team, ensuring we continue to deliver a first class service as we grow.
Firstly, our Data Support Service continues to go from strength to strength with a number of new clients choosing our database system over the competition. Welcome to:
* Nottinghamshire PCT
* Ridgeway Partnership
* Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
* Liverpool Womens NHS Foundation Trust
* Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals Trust
* Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt NHS Trust
* Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust
At the time of writing we have 45 clients using the system and looking after 350,000 members. This time last year (November 2008) we had 18 clients using the system.
Version 3 of the system went live at the end of November. New features include the election turnout comparer, membership modeller, pre-entry duplicate checker, enhanced address finder and much more. You can find full details on your updated user guide or of course just call your Project Manager if you wish to discuss any aspect. We also have our User Group coming up in February - we hope to see you there.
Once again we sponsored the FTN conference, this year in Birmingham - it was good to see so many of you there and we hope you found it as useful as we did.
Welcome to Ben Weller who has recently joined our Project Management team, also to Zulay Lidster who has been temping with us - providing valuable office support - during the past few months and is staying with us for a further 6 months. We are currently recruiting for two more vacancies so look out for new faces at meetings/voices on the end of the phone.
This week we are filming our first promotional film for Nottingham University Hospitals - this focuses on the benefits of membership and will support our on-going recruitment activities for the Trust. Call us if you need help with this kind of service.
We are also developing our training services - having already conducted a number of successful client training programmes in 2008 and 2009 this is something we are looking to expand in 2010 in response to client enquiries.
Looking ahead to 2010, as well as expanding our company we are also restructuring MES a little, again in order to ensure we are delivering the best service possible. Please welcome Rhodri Mortimer to his new role as Manager of MES's Project Delivery, and Elouise Smith as our new Membership Services Manager. Jonathan Fisher is moving across to join the new ERS Commercial & Client Development department as Senior Client Development Executive. Nick will be joining the ERS Board and heading up this department alongside his role as Managing Director here at MES.
The final thing to tell you about is our change of address! We pride ourselves on the level of service we deliver to our clients. In order to continue in this manner, and to work more closely with that of our parent company we need to move as we have run out of space.
From 4th January 2010 you will find us just up the road in North London in new larger purpose built offices on the main Electoral Reform Services Group site:
33 Clarendon Road
London
N8 0NW
Tel: 020 8829 2330
All email addresses remain the same.
That's all for now - have a good winter and we look forward to working with you all in 2010!
